Roselle were invited to pitch a creative concept to the team at Harvey Nichols for their Edinburgh stores 10th Birthday party. Roselle were delighted to beat off some tough competition and win the event with their Fashion Fairytale designs.
500 invited guests, 1 Mad Hatter Punch Bar, 5 ice sculptures, Cinderella’s carriage, Flamingo croquet and a secret garden
Furthermore Roselle then decided to become sponsors of the event and partnered with the team at Harvey Nichols Edinburgh to bring the designs to life and treat Edinburgh to a party, the likes of which they had never seen before.
The night of the party saw the 2nd floor of the Harvey Nichols store on St Andrews square transformed into an enchanted fashion fairytale dream world.
Even as guests arrived outside the store, walked up the glittering red carpet and along the black tunnel in the ground floor of the store, they knew they were in for a very special night to remember.
The party theming was divided into three key areas, each one with a particular theme and atmosphere.
The enchanted garden featured grass flooring, hedge seating, topiary trees, white wrought iron garden furniture, an Alice in Wonderland style flamingo croquet lawn complete with flamingo clubs and small furry creatures as balls! The Mad Hatters punch bar served a delicious selection of cocktails in beautiful vintage tea cups and the seafood banquet featured ice sculptures overflowing with king prawns, scallops, oysters and smoked salmon.
Milliner to the stars William Chambers had a beautiful pop-up boutique giving guests the opportunity to admire and try his stunning creations.
Next the Mirror Mirror area played homage to Snow white’s evil Queen step mother with its dark wall drapes and black glossy furniture. The Poison Apple martinis served from the mirrored bar proved to be very popular.
The Cinderella area was a spectacular assault to the eyes with the floor and bar swathed in silver glitter fabric. The lighting effects made the whole area sparkle like a diamond and the stylised Cinderella carriage prop, which also housed the DJ booth, was a purple and silver sparkly extravaganza. Guests sipped champagne from the glittering bar and danced the night away under the mesmerizing glitter balls.
Both Roselle and Harvey Nichols were delighted with the event and believe the months of planning really were well worth it. The feedback from guests was fantastic and many really couldn’t believe they were still in woman’s wear department as the space had been so utterly transformed.
Roselle wanted to create an enchanting experience for guests, reinforcing the Harvey Nichols name as a creative and fashion forward brand, and showcasing Roselle as one of the top event management and design agencies in the UK.
